Daily Flag 2 on Tuesday, December 2 at 66 Leuty by Don, Jane & Mia. 36”x48” Hand-sewn appliqué on ripstop nylon. Flag 2 presents a magical representation of Kew Beach Boathouse. This is actually the second incarnation of the Boathouse. The original was built in 1932 but sadly destroyed just 22 years later by Hurricane Hazel. Twos abound with meaning in this flag: two trees of life, two foxes – the hunters and gathers of the Anishinaabe People on whose traditional lands this boathouse sits – and two boxes of food ready for transportation to the Daily Bread Food Bank. All watched over by the Leuty Angel under a nearly full moon. SOLD $200
