This month, 32 families on Leuty and Violet Avenues in the Beach will design, make and fly advent flags. Those flags will be auctioned off online, with the money going to charity. [Click here to listen]

Participating members along these two Beach streets fly an individually created flag outside their home, adding one per day from Dec. 1 until Jan. 1. The flags are then auctioned off, with all money donated to the food bank. [Read full story]
